Last Day of Classes
Marking the end of formal lessons for our students we had a lovely breakfast on the northern lawn in the magnificent sunshine, with live music from our own staff member, Marcus, followed by our end-of-year assembly with Dayna at the helm.
We heard from some of our Year 12 students and their advice for Year 11 as well as celebrating our wonderful, vibrant student community making it through the year. Presentations were also made to our 'Olympic Change Makers', Adam and Nakita. The Port Sorell Lions Club presented $1000 to Don College as a result of Gigi O'Rourke's success in the Lions Youth of the Year contest.
The assembly was topped off with a stunning musical performance by Taso. All this comes before the serious business of exams starting next week.
Best of luck to all students, whether sitting exams and/or moving on to pastures new. We wish everyone the greatest success.
